Case 061 reliability / found in the process logs
The sales app had quietly restarted 3,200 times
The application looked alive. Screens loaded. People used it. And under the surface it had restarted roughly 3,200 times over a few days, dying and reviving just fast enough that no human ever saw it down.
Nothing threw an error anyone read. The app just died three thousand times where nobody was looking.
The restart count surfaced in the process logs. The root cause was traced the same evening and the application was stable around midnight.
Then the full audit, because a machine that hides one problem is hiding others: fourteen production-breaking bugs and two critical ones fixed, five operating features shipped, 134 tests passing at the end of it.
Uptime that depends on nobody checking the logs is not uptime. It is luck with a dashboard.

This is the kind of thing I find and fix every week. Thirty minutes: you talk, I ask questions, and I tell you whether I think there is something here.
Book the audit callIf I think there is nothing, I say that, and we are done in fifteen.
